The health and safety of our customers and staff is always our top priority. As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic continues to be a major concern in Antigua and around the world, we have increased the steps taken to ensure the health & safety of our customers and staff.

We want to assure you, our valued customers that we have developed a comprehensive plan to address the current situation, taking into account all government issued regulations and guidelines on how to conduct business with our company.


We have:
  • Implemented temperature checks for all individuals entering our offices including customers and staff.
  • Hand sanitizers available at every employee desk along with our previously installed hand sanitizer dispensers which is also available to customers upon entry and other strategic locations throughout our offices.
  • Increased the cleaning and disinfecting of frequently touch surfaces such as workstations, keyboards, telephones, handrails, and doorknobs.
  • Made equipment such as gloves and facemask available to all staff.
  • Limited the number of customers allowed in the line at any one time, to practice social distancing.
  • Disseminated Safety preparedness tips to help educate customers and staff.

What should you do?
  • Stay home if you are sick or experiencing any fever, cough, or shortness of breath. If you think you may have or have been exposed to COVID-19, contact your healthcare provider immediately!
  • Ensure that you are wearing your face mask safely.
  • Ensure that you wash your hands upon entry of the Hadeed Motors Ltd. compound, at the sink provided and also use the hand sanitizer provided upon entry to our company.
  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze or use the inside of your elbow. Throw used tissues in the trash and immediately wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or sanitize.
  • Practice social distancing by avoiding large gatherings and maintaining distance (approximately 6 feet or 2 meters) from others when possible.
  • Reduce cash transactions by using any one of our variety of payment options available.
  • Feel free to call, email or fax us for any information, letters or documents needed from us or to be given to us, to further practice social distancing.

How does this affect your loan?

We are aware that the global outbreak of COVID-19 has seriously impacted the economy and job security. We understand that some customers have experienced reduced working hours, lessened working days, pay cuts, lay-offs from work, etc. In in consultation with our regulator, the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) we advise that if you are affected by any of the reasons stated above, it is your duty to inform us of your financial position. You can email or fax us, or if necessary, bring in the letter from your workplace stating your new employment position, and each case will be looked at individually. For self-employed and business owners, we require a letter outlining your specific situation and a formal request for a moratorium anywhere from 1 to 6 months. Upon receipt, your request will be assessed and within two business days we will advise of the granting of the moratorium.
