Security is required for all loans exceeding $10,000.00.


Loan Requirements

The eligibility requirements for borrowers slightly differ depending on the type of loan sought. Kindly review the appropriate section below to learn in detail what will be expected of each applicant.

    • A current job letter/contract/proof of income from your employer and or valid work permit, along with 2 months’ pay slips are required. Self-employed persons should show proof of occupation e.g., Business Licence/Business Certificate, along with the most recent 2 years Audited Financial Statement and Proof of Business Address.
    • A valid passport along with another photo ID is required, such as; Antigua drivers’ licence, Social Security Card, Medical Benefits Card, National Voter’s Identification Card. If passport is lost or expired your birth certificate is required.
    • A police record if you are not Antiguan/Barbudan or citizen.
    • A verification of address such as a; Utility bill e.g.: water, electricity, telephone, internet or cable, which should not be more than 3 months old. If the bill is in someone else’s name a letter from the person stating that you do reside in that home, a valid copy of their id, along with the bill must be provided.
    • If a Personal loan is more than $10,000.00 security is required. If you are using land as the security, the land must be valued more than 120% of the value of the amount being borrowed. an updated valuation is required, from our company approved valuators, (J. Bradshaw or D. Parker).
    • Depending on the purpose of the personal loan, additional information may be required, such as a, invoice, or business plan.

    • A sales invoice for the vehicle being purchased.
    • A Memorandum and Articles of Association.
    • A certificate of Good Standing.
    • A certificate of Incorporation.
    • Borrowing Resolution, authorizing persons to act as trustees on behalf of the company with regards to the transaction.
    • A list of all directors along with their photo ID (preferably passport).
    • A list of all persons authorized to sign on behalf of the company.
    • Name, Signature, Address, Occupation & Photo ID (preferably passport).
    • The company’s most recent 2 years Audited Financial Statements, with a minimum of 3 years projections.
    • A verification of address for the company such as a; Utility bill e.g.: water, electricity, telephone, internet, or cable, which should not be more than 3 months old.
    • All company documents should contain the company’s seal.
    • Please note that a registered company cannot borrow in the company’s name, the company must be incorporated.
    • An equity injection of 10% should be made on new vehicles, 25% on used vehicles, or 10% on land purchases.
    • A sales invoice for the vehicle being purchased.
    • For land purchases a Sale Agreement, between a buyer and a seller of a land and a Proof of ownership from seller; copy of land register and title deed.
    • An updated valuation is to be obtained from one of our company’s approved valuators, (J. Bradshaw or D. Parker).
    • Depending on the purpose of the loan, additional information may be required.
    • A Constitution/Bylaw
    • Borrowing Resolution, authorizing persons to act as trustees on behalf of the church with regards to the transaction.
    • A list of all persons authorized to sign on behalf of the church ie. Name, Signature, Address, Occupation & Photo I.D.
    • A church’s income, expenses, and annual returns/financial information.
    • A verification of address for the church such as a; Utility bill e.g.: water, electricity, telephone, internet, or cable, which should not be more than 3 months old.
    • All church documents should contain the church’s seal.
    • Please note that a church must be registered as a non-profit organization.
    • An equity injection of 10% should be made on new vehicles, 25% on used vehicles, or 10% on land purchases.

Non-nationals are required to submit the following documents:

  • Valid Police Record
  • Immigration time extension stamp
Additional Loan Requirements for Self-Employed Persons

Self-Employed persons are required to submit the following documents:

  • Business Registration Certificate
  • Certificate of Incorporation (if Available)
  • Audited Financials for the last 2-years minimum
